The HitEngine is based on a new search technology which retrieves hits with similar spelling and/or similar sounding.  The hit list, including categories, is displayed during the search, when terms are keyed in. Even in huge amounts of data, the HitEngine finds the hits in a laps of milliseconds.

The fuzzy search capability of the HitEngine is a product of the linguistic engine EXTRAKT and its phonetic component TRAPHO.
